Following a distinguished military career as a fencing instructor, master swordsman Taisaburo Nakamura rationalized the military sword method he had taught for the Toyama Academy and from it distilled the method that bears his name. This is an excellent record of the style as it was in 1985, since which time some technical developments have occurred.
